From February 24 to 26, 2025, the focus of the global plastic packaging industry gathered in North Africa-the SAFEX Exhibition Center in Algiers, the capital of Algeria, grandly held the “2025 Algeria Plastic Packaging Expo”. 1. Focus on the North African market: opportunities and challenges in the plastic packaging industry
As one of the important economies in Africa, Algeria has continued to see an increase in demand for plastic packaging in recent years, especially in the fields of food, medicine, and daily chemicals. At this exhibition, we showed the company’s latest high-end plastic extrusion production lines and customized solutions to professional visitors from North Africa, Europe, the Middle East and other regions, attracting hundreds of industry customers to stop and communicate, and the atmosphere was warm.

Adopting intelligent temperature control system, energy consumption is reduced by 20%, and production capacity is increased by 30%. It is specially designed for large-scale packaging film production;

2. Customized profile and sheet extrusion production line
In response to the urgent demand of Algerian customers for environmentally friendly materials, modular equipment that can adapt to PLA and recycled PET is launched to support rapid production change;
3. Industrial 4.0 remote operation and maintenance system
Real-time equipment monitoring and fault warning are realized through Internet of Things technology to solve the pain point of shortage of local technical maintenance resources.
During the exhibition, the company’s technical team had in-depth discussions with more than 30 potential customers, of which 12 companies clearly expressed their intention to cooperate and planned to visit the Suzhou factory for a field visit in the second quarter of 2025.
