Why our machinery stands out

The MIDTECH PET Bottle Washing and Recycling Line is a high-capacity, fully automated recycling system engineered to process post-consumer PET bottles into premium r-PET flakes. It easily handles compressed bales, loose bottles, and heavily contaminated materials containing oil, glue, labels, and caps.

Core Advantages

PET Recycling Line

The automated delabeler achieves 95%–98% removal without bottle damage; cyclone waste collection reduces downstream cleaning loads.

The wet granulator features a V-rotor with water injection for pre-washing, hydraulic quick-opening, and D2/D3 wear-resistant blades for long service life.

The sink-float tank separates PET (sink) from PP/PE (float) by density; an extended channel, bottom screw, and surface paddles ensure thorough separation, delivering high-purity flakes.

FAQ

How does the system handle un-removed PVC bottle contamination?
PVC bottles look identical to PET but will ruin a batch during pelletizing. MIDTECH handles this via a multi-layer strategy: an initial manual sorting belt allows operators to pick out non-PET bottles, a mechanical de-labeler removes PVC sleeves early.
To remove stubborn bottle glues, labels, and oil residues, the hot washing tank typically uses a mixture of water heated to 85–90°C combined with 1% to 2% Caustic Soda (NaOH) and a specialized surfactant/detergent. This formulation cleanly separates industrial adhesive chemicals from the PET surface without degrading the polymer resin itself.
After passing through the final fresh-water rinsing steps, the wet PET flakes enter our high-speed Centrifugal Dewatering Machine. Spinning at high RPMs, it uses centrifugal force to throw off surface water, reducing moisture to under 1.5%. For lines requiring direct sheet extrusion or fiber spinning, we add a multi-stage hot air pipe drying system to bring final moisture levels below 1%.
