PVC Ceiling & Wall Panel Extrusion Line

+25% Output Efficlency

-15% Energy Consumption

99.6% Stable Operation Rate

Why our plastic profile extruder stands out

The MIDTECH PVC ceiling and wall panel extrusion line is a highly robust and versatile manufacturing system engineered for the building decoration and construction materials industry. It is widely used to produce high-gloss PVC ceiling tiles, wide interior wall panels, decorative marble-look panel foundations, and hollow WPC (wood-plastic) wall claddings. Our lines stably handle various raw material formulations to meet international building standards for impact resistance and flame retardancy, covering production widths typically from 150mm up to 600mm .

Core Advantages

Extruder

High-Calcium Optimization: Tapered screw profile designed with high intake volume for powder feeds.

Gentle Progressive Melting: Low-temperature plasticization that prevents material burning or degradation.

Siemens Main Motor: Driven by high-torque Siemens motors for stable output and energy savings.

Premium Global Controls: Regulated via ABB inverters and Omron temperature controllers.

Mould

Coat-Hanger Flow Runner: Computer-optimized channel design for symmetric melt distribution.

Uniform Wall Thickness: Ensures balanced material velocity from the center to the outermost edges.

Hard-Chrome Plating: All internal flow channels are hard-chrome plated to eliminate material stagnation.

Mirror-Polished Cavity: Polished to a roughness under 0.02μm for an immaculate skin finish.

Vacuum Calibrator

SUS304 Stainless Steel Bed: Elongated, heavy-duty construction to prevent profile bowing or sagging.

3D Micro-Positioning: Precision handwheels for exact longitudinal, lateral, and vertical alignment.

High-Capacity Vacuum Pumps: Powerful water-ring pumps deliver un-fluctuating negative pressure.

Independent Cooling Circuits: Multi-stage water cooling blocks to rapidly lock panel flatness.

Haul Off

Expanded Caterpillar Tracks: Extra-wide traction bed designed specifically for wide decorative panels.

Non-Marking Rubber Blocks: Custom-formulated, high-friction pads prevent hollow cell crushing.

Central PLC Encoder Sync: Fully integrated to match the running speed of the extruder in real time.

Digital Speed Coordination: Eliminates tensile deformation and running profile stretch marks.

Cutter

Chipless Clean Slicing: High-speed saw or heated knife cuts through profiles instantly.

Zero Airborne Debris: Generates zero dust or static-charged plastic chips in the workshop.

High-Precision Guide Rails: Mounted on smooth linear guides for stable, vibration-free movement.

Real-Time Traveling Sync: Synchronized with the line speed for perfectly square, burr-free cuts.

FAQ

Why do you use a Conical Twin-Screw Extruder instead of a Single-Screw Extruder for PVC panels?
PVC panels are manufactured using dry-blended PVC powder combined with stabilizers, processing aids, and high amounts of calcium carbonate filler to reduce raw material costs. Single-screw extruders cannot efficiently feed or homogenize raw powder mixes directly. The Conical Twin-Screw Extruder is the industry gold-standard because its tapered design provides immense positive-displacement pumping, excellent progressive physical mixing, and the high head-pressure needed to force materials evenly across wide panel dies.
Yes, the line offers great production flexibility. By keeping the main extruder and downstream machines, you can produce different panel widths (e.g., changing from a 200mm ceiling panel to a 300mm wall panel) or different rib designs by simply swapping out the extrusion die head and the calibration sizing sleeves. The modular vacuum table and adjustable wide haul-off can easily accommodate different sizes within its model range.
There are two main methods, and MIDTECH can integrate both downstream: Online/Offline Hot-Stamping: A specialized hot-stamping machine transfers a decorative foil pattern directly onto the hot surface of the PVC panel using heat and pressure right after calibration. Offline Lamination: The extruded panel base is passed through a lamination machine where a durable, printed PVC decorative film is glued onto the panel surface, which is ideal for textured, premium wood or stone finishes.
An optional secondary co-extruder is often used to save material costs. It allows you to use recycled PVC or highly filled, lower-cost material for the main thick core of the hollow panel, while the co-extruder pushes a thin, pristine layer of virgin PVC onto the outer visible surface. This ensures the panel looks premium and bonds perfectly with decorative foils while significantly reducing overall manufacturing costs.
