In high-speed flexible pipe extrusion lines, the extruder cannot be stopped. With a single-station winder, operators must slow down the entire line or work under extreme stress to cut the pipe, remove the finished coil, and tie the new pipe to the reel. The Double-Station Winder eliminates this issue completely. When a coil is full, the line switches to the empty station automatically, giving the operator ample time to safely unload the finished coil with zero line interruptions.
How does the machine prevent thin-walled soft hoses from being crushed or ovalized during winding?
